  • HIV/AIDS prevention program
In Tanzania, home to Mount Kilimanjaro, the AIDS prevention program was started in the village called Lyamungu on the hills of the mountains. The program was initially launched in middle schools and churches and has now expanded to a nearby city, Moshi, as the program has moved into Muslim schools.

    Community AIDS prevention Center
Dr. Park, medical advisor of Blue Ocean, founded Community AIDS Prevention Center in Tanzania. The prevention center currently provides counseling program for HIV/AIDS carriers. By 2011, the center will be providing free medical examination for hoping to find the disease at an early stage. The HIV/AIDS patients will be able to get care and monitored. Also, at request of the community, we plan to start general medical treatment expected to contribute to improve the health of seven thousand residents.
